The Pinot Noir 'Sarego' by Buvoli originates in the southern part of the Colli Berici, in the municipality of Sarego, on a vineyard at about 300 meters above sea level with a calcareous and rocky soil. The grapes are hand-picked in early September and gently destemmed to preserve the whole berry, then aged for 15 months in barriques and tonneaux of French oak on the fine lees. On the nose, it offers notes of small red and black fruits, balsamic herbs, rose and cyclamen flowers, and a toasted touch of coffee, while on the palate it is full-bodied and rich, with elegant and silky tannins. An ideal pairing is with a roasted guinea fowl
