From our sommeliers
The Moulin-à-Vent 'Les Michelons' by Yohan Lardy originates from the prestigious climat Les Michelons, among the highest and richest granite parcels of the cru. The shallow soils of crumbly pink granite provide great tension to the sip, a typical trait of the Beaujolais from the winery. Vinified with semi-carbonic maceration and indigenous yeasts, it rests for six months in large oak barrels. On the nose, it reveals aromas of blackberry and black blueberry, with violet, graphite, and final tertiary touches. On the palate, it is deep and structured, with firm and granitic tannin, taut freshness, and a long and mineral finish. A dark and fascinating Moulin-à-Vent, ideal with a marinated roe deer.
