Chablis 1er Cru 'Mont de Milieu' Albert Pic 2023

The Premier Cru Chablis “Mont de Milieu” Albert Pic is a white wine of great territorial expressiveness. The winery can indeed boast several owned plots within the AOC Chablis and is therefore able to emphasize, in each single label produced, the concept of terroir. In this bottle, a warm and mineral drinkability dominates, while on the nose, it is the well-ripened fruit that tells us about the Chardonnay grown in the 1er Cru of Mont de Milieu. Among its various qualities, it also has the versatility in the kitchen, allowing it to be paired with fish, white meats, and blue cheeses.

The “Mont de Milieu” Chablis Premier Cru is a pure Chardonnay whose grapes are grown in that 1er Cru that also gives the name to the label. Mont de Milieu is indeed a particularly suited area for the cultivation of Chardonnay, capable of expressing itself with very particular nuances. After harvesting, the bunches are destemmed and the berries are sent to the pressing phase. The must obtained ferments in both steel and concrete tanks, where the wine will also undergo the final aging phase, at the end of which it will be ready to be bottled.

The Chablis Premier Cru “Mont de Milieu” by Albert Pic presents itself visually with a straw yellow color, characterized by a particular brightness. The olfactory texture of the aromas that envelop the nose draws a honeyed trace, enriched by hints of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with an energetic and warm sip, characterized by a savory vein; it finishes with a pleasant finale.
